Giving Back to the Community
Edison schedules several projects each year to give students opportunities to give back to the community.  Specific projects vary by year.  This year’s projects include:

Corazon de Vida Collection - For several years, Edison has taken an annual collection to support the orphanages of Corazon de Vida in Baja California.  Families typically bring in diapers, baby wipes, tooth brushes and tooth paste, and new underwear and socks.  These items are delivered by a group of Edison families who travel to Tijuana or Ensenada to deliver the supplies and spend a day sharing a meal, art activities, and playtime with the children.  Several students from Corazon de Vida have also traveled to Santa Monica to meet with our students.

Food Drive - Each holiday season Edison sponsors a food drive for the Westside Regional Foodbank.

Operation Gratitude - Edison students donate their Halloween Candy to the troops and Veterans.
Other projects are developed each year in response to community needs or the need for disaster relief.
